OOOOOPS!!! Wow, it sure has been a long time since my last post....ahhh...let's see, what can I say? Well....we've been moving! Yes, we are finally in our new house! Good to be HOME! I have many photos to share, and I know that's what most of you are looking for anyway....don't care about all the blah, blah...just want to see some Charlie pics....so.....here ya go!

Oh...I'm also now connected to facebook and sometimes add photos there too (when I get a chance in between unpacking and chasing my almost 1 year old around! He's sooooo fast!

Here's our little guy sitting where the electric fireplace is being installed. He just loves to climb up and sit on the ledge, not sure what he'll do once the fireplace is in....burn himself a few times I guess! Just kidding !!!!!

This is Charlie's new highchair; well, new to him! I got it at a yard sale last weekend and he just loves it! It fits under the counter with all the other stools, so much easier to handle.

Here's Charlie getting ready to cheer on his favorite NFL team, the Chiefs! Saving room in his chair for uncle Derek?????

Is that Elton John? nope....just Uncle Dave trying to get a grin from the gals!
And here is Roger and Dave trying to get a grin from the rest of us! Well....from themselves at least! Happy Birthday Grampy!!!! Good Ol' Maritime party....mussels and Alpine!

Charlie with his cousin Justin who came all the way from Quebec to take him for a wagon ride.
Just waking up from a long nap on the way home from "Dragon Days" in St. George

I think that's all for now. Sorry it's been so long...will try to be a bit better now that we're gettign settled here at home. Charlie is doing very well, as you can see. We're going to be celebrating his first birthday in just under 2 weeks!!!! We can't believe it! Things sure have changed for our family since this time last year....all for the better! Hope you and your families are enjoying the summer as much as we are. Take care and let us know what you've been up to!

Halifax Fun!!! Hi Gang! We were away in Nova Scotia this weekend and so I thought I would share some GREAT photos that we took (mostly on Monday as I was having a few camera "issues" and so didn't take any on my own until then...will send more as I receive them from Aly). Anyway, enough of the blah, blah, blah! Lots to share.....

Here is Charlie and his beautiful new cousin Katie!!!! They had so much fun together. Katie is now about 7 weeks old and man is she a looker!!!! We see many similarities between the two of them.

Here he is holding Katie's hand and smiling. He thougth she was quite special. He even leaned over and gave her kisses several times. And....he was calling her "baba"!!!! I think that Katie will definately have an older cousin looking out for her in the years to come.

Now Katie wasn't quite as happy in this photo....it had been a long day on the boat and she was ready to go home, but we just had to include it in the post because you can see how Charlie's trying to comfort her with a little kiss.....

Now....you perhaps can't see what this is that Charlie is holding, but it's his new favorite snack....hence the very large grin on his face and the squealing laugh (that you can't hear of course, but should be able to tell from the photo that he's definately making some sort of blissful noice !)

So....what is it you ask????? good ol' Brunswick sardines! Yup....right from the can, he eats at least a half of a can/day! You see, we're not eating any dairy for a few weeks to see if that makes a difference in his breathing, and the dietician told me that there are certain foods that would be great for him to get calcium, fat, protein, etc.....SARDINES!!!!! "IF" he'll eat them," she says. We tried them and he loves them....we're talking LOVES them....like lip smackin' good!!!! Crazy kid!

This one's a little out of order, but here is Charlie in his swing at Nana and Papa's last weekend. He loves to sit and swing on the veranda, overlooking the lake and listening to the birds. I think he's maybe already a bit of a nature buff???

Charlie and his Dad setting out on his first boat ride! Are they not just the most handsome boys you've seen in a long while???

And this is Charlie on the way back in to the marina after LOTS of fresh air and a full day of site seeing and sun! Notice he's holding the deck line....he really wanted to show Captain Jim that he was a big boy and could help out if needed!

finally, here are some pictures of the tall ships in Halifax harbour during the parade of sails. It was quite spectacular! We had wonderful weather and enjoyed it very much! Special thanks to Captain Jim for the invite!

Well, I think that's it for now! Only 9 days left and we'll be moving into our new house! Can't wait to get some boxes unpacked and feel like Home! We've been having GREAT weather - although I think they're calling for rain the next few days...we'll see! Charlie is doing very well and we just can't believe that he'll be 11 months on Thursday!!!! And 1 yr next month!!!! We hope that you are all doing well too! Don't forget to tell us how you're doing.

Fun "stuff" I've been up to!!! Charlie writes....well, I thought that it was about time that I sat down and sent you all some pictures of what's been happenin' here on the beautiful east coast! My Mom's just been a bit slow in helping me out! Anyway....I've just been up to so much that I don't know where to start....let's see we were at the lake with friends for a couple of days and then the beach with family for another couple of days.....how about if I just show you the pictures and fill you in as we go? They won't be in any particular order so just follow along.....

First things first....I FINALLY got to meet my cousin Austin! We had such a great time playing, chatting and planning our many fishing trips, etc.! I'm sure that we'll be getting into LOTS of trouble together in the years to come. Aren't we just too cute? You can see some more photos of us on Austin's blog (the link is on the right)

This one is me playing with Austin and Carlie....we sure did have a lot of fun at the cottage on the weekend! I got to meet a whole bunch of my other cousins....and most of them were BOYS!!!

I hear that Austin may get a real dirt bike someday (not like the little plastic one you see in the photo) and I think that I am too so we can go ridin' together out behind my new house! YAHOOO!!!!
This photo was taken at the cottage by the ocean. My crazy uncle Roger built a fire in the rain! So, the kids thought they would be nice and bring him an umbrella. They stood under it and roasted marshmallows!
That night everyone had a "monster boil" -as my cousin Carlie called it! Mom and Dad were pretty excited...they said it's the first monsters they've had since we moved home. I hope that I will get to stay up late enough to eat some monsters someday!!!!

Oh....I like this one....I forgot to mention that I have also been swimming lots in Grammy and Grampy's pool. We even had a pool party last week with some friends and had a great time. My favorite is swimming with Dad! He lets me kick and splash a whole bunch!!!!

Now only 5 days ago this is how I looked....yes, I was still "white fang". But....my front teeth have now broke through but Mom didn't have a picture for me to show you yet.
ahhhh....as my dad says "I put the "OO's" in SmOOth!!!!" Here I am just hangin' with a couple of cuties.....I love the pretty ladies!!!!! This is Nana and I enjoying a nice visit on the veranda at the lake. I sure do like it there...I spent 3 whole days there and Mom and Dad even let me stay there with Nana and Papa while they went shopping or something....it was sooooo much fun, they have a swing for me and everything!!!!
Here's a shot of Nana, Papa and my Mom celebrating the summer solstice! I heard it was a great party....I was in bed LONG before the festivities broke out!
I'm officially mobile and I'm keeping my Mom on her toes!!!! I can crawl pretty fast for a little guy I think!

I LOVE MOOSE MEAT!!!!!! I ate a whole steak the other night for supper....mmmmm!

Well, I think that' s it! In other news....I had to spend a couple more nights at the hospital again. My mom took me in on tuesday afternoon and we just got home tonight. Nothing too serious...just same old thing....everyone else gets a cold and a runny nose, and I get a lung infection instead! The doctors say that I should grow out of it, but in the mean time my mom and I are going to try to not eat any dairy for a few weeks and see if that helps me any with my breathing. Don't worry, I'm doing just fine! I once again left a good impression on all the hospital staff - hee!hee! Also, we will be moving into our new house in just a few mores weeks. We're going to have some visitors from Nanaimo our first weekend there and we can't wait!
Hope you are all doing well....drop us a line and say hello!

Great Weekend at the Beach!!! Hello once again to everyone. We had a wonderful weekend (extended one that is!!!) in Shediac last week. Mom picked up the keys to the new cottage on Thursday morning and Charlie and I arrived that afternoon; along with cousins Carlie and Chloe. We had such an incredible 4 days that I can't wait for you to see all the photos.....so.....I'm just going to stop talking now and show you some shots.....

Here is Charlie on the beach. He LOVED the water coming in over his legs. Also enjoyed eating the sand!!!!

After his swim he wanted to dry off in the sun and catch up on his tan! Again, he ate some sand and tried a few rocks too! Mmmmmm!!!

After getting "dirty" at the beach, he came home and took a nice warm bath out on the lawn in his "ducky tub"! Thanks to a good friend, Heather, for telling me about this wonderful invention. There is no bathtub (only shower) at the cottage, so I went to Wal-mart and bought a duck!!! It fits perfectly into the shower (or on the lawn) so the kids can have a bath afterall! Charlie thought it was quite spectacular.

These next couple of photos were taken on Father's Day. David had gone fishing for a couple of days, so we decided to take advantage of the weather (27+ degrees) and stayed in Shediac. We had lots of visitors on Sunday for some beach fun and barbeque! Here's Charlie and Carlie (say that 5 times really fast!!!) playing "ball".

I love this picture!!! He's quite amazed at every little thing he finds! And yes....he ate grass too!!!

I went to visit Donna and Allan for a few minutes and left Charlie behind with everyone. When I came back he was sitting beside uncle Eddy looking like he'd had a few too many "booby juice cocktails!!!" He thought he was pretty cool sporting these shades. What do you think? Oh....and check out that top tooth! My friend Julie called him "white fang" and so far, it's sticking!!!

We returned home late on Sunday night and he was pretty bushed from all the excitement over the weekend. He has slept quite well the past few nights. This last photo David took on Tuesday morning as we waited for Charlie to wake up. Quite typical....Charlie and Schooner in a king sized bed and David and I pushed out! Oh to live the life!!!!!

So....that's it for now. Charlie is now 10 months old and he seems to have grown up so much in the past 2 weeks that we don't want him to keep going. He is now crawling (ahhhhh!), he still smiles all the time and laughs at all my jokes! He is eating like a horse (had a whole steak for lunch today!) and I'm going to get the scales and tape measure out tomorrow because I'm convinced he weighs over 20 lbs and is definately 30 + inches long! David is not so convinced....so, we'll see if Mom knows best! I'll keep you posted!

We will definately be going back to Shediac throughout the summer and would love for you to join us (oh...by the way...Mom IS renting it out by the week if you and your family/friends are interested)

Take care,

love Tracy, David and Charlie

My foolish ploy! Well, I thought after that last post of only 2 photos....sorry Lucy.....that perhaps my plan was starting to work. I thought that maybe if I only put on a couple photos here and there, you maybe would start going through withdrawl and get fed up and decide that you are better off just coming east for a visit and seeing us in person!!!! Is my plan working for anyone??? Just in case it's not, I thougth that I had better start "snapping" and get some more Charlie pics on here before Lucy gets REALLY upset with me.

Tomorrow we are heading off to Mom's cottage in Shediac for a couple of days to enjoy some sunshine...I hope! So, I figured that I had better get these photos on tonight. Here are a few snapshots taken this week of our pride and joy....and our new house (for those who have been asking for pics)

Here is the front.....

and the back....(look at all that lawn to mow...poor David!) Great family home. Wonderful patio for entertaining! We'll be in the end of July so feel free to plan your visits after that - hee!hee!

and this is a nice shot of the river just a short walk down the hill from the house. Great for fishing (obviously), swimming and my favorite....tubing!!!

Now....for our little charmer! Here he is in somewhat of an action shot (hence the blurry hands) He was clapping for the camera. He thinks it's pretty funny now whenever you say "yeahhh!" he claps his hands and laughs.

This was also taken yesterday. It was a beautiful day and so we got the sprinkler out for Charlie and his cousins to play in. He thought that was pretty cool!

Today we went to our soon to be house (it's great having the current owners as relatives, we can just go over and work on the yard whenever we please!!!) Charlie was a big help in cleaning up around the yard - notice the golf ball in his hands he found on the lawn - Then he sat and entertained himself with that ball for quite awhile. When I got the camera out he wouldn't show the teeth though....hmmmm!

But tonight, after his bath he was ready and willing to show those pearly whites to mama for a photo....I LOVE this one.....tooooo funny!!!! He really is a "ham". I'm sure he'll be very upset with me in a few years for taking this picture, but........

Let's see, what else can I tell you....He is starting to crawl. Now has 3 teeth - as you can see above - and another one (front right) is almost through. He hasn't been enjoying teething. Still says "ball" CONSTANTLY but has also added "bird" (or so David seems to think) I can't believe that he will be 10 months next week....where oh where does the time go?

Hope you are well. Keep in touch!

Still having fun! Once again I have been lacking in my blogging....sorry! There just seems to be soooo much going on around here I just can't seem to find the time. So, here I am at 11:15pm on Thursday night downloading photos of my handsome little guy to post. We have had a very eventful couple of weeks. We are very happy to report that we have found a house!!!! We will be moving in the end of July! Not the one we had originally thought....better....perfect house for entertaining so book now!!!! David is very excited as there are many trails around, a river just around the corner and a little pond for winter pond hockey right in the back yard!!!! It belongs to my aunt and uncle so we are really excited (as are they) to be the ones to move in. I'll post some house photos in the near future.

Charlie is loving all the attention he's getting from his cousins. He is learning soooo much from them too. He is now almost crawling....he'll get up on his hands and knees and then lunge forward. He will scoot backwards while on his belly and he can pull himself up in his crib now. His favorite word is "ball" and then "uh-oh". He claps his hands and waves alot too. He still has just the 2 bottom teeth, and is also sporting an eye tooth on the top! He looks so cute with that little "fang" poking out.

Anyhooo.....here are a couple of photos to enjoy.

Here he is with 2 of his cousins inside a fort we built one rainy day!

And this one was taken on a beautiful day last weekend while visitting Nana and Papa. He got to go for a ride in his wagon that they had given him at Christmas. He enjoys it very much!

Well I guess that's all for now. I will have to get a few more shots this weekend. I hope you are all doing well. Keep in touch!
