New Link! hey...I just figured out how to link Charlie's lil' cousin Austin's blog to our blog! Anyway, just quite exciting....i'm not just another pretty face...hee!hee! If you know him (or even if you don't) check out his blog....he's a cutie!!! I think he and Charlie are going to hit it off and most likely get into some trouble together over the years.

See my TEETH!!! Charlie writes...." Hello everyone! Sorry it's been awhile since I last wrote, I was feeling a little under the weather and then Mom and Dad kept hogging the computer so I couldn't get a chance to post. Anyway, here I am and so much to fill you in on....."

I'll start with this photo of my teeth....YES, I said "teeth" plural!!!! I now have 2 and thank God they're on the bottom....I heard Mom talking on the phone to someone saying that they would have thrown me to the wolves if they came in on the top first....ahhhh....some sort of tribal thing??? Anyway....they're keeping me!!!! Hope you can see them in the photo.

Here I am brushing my teeth! Mom lets me brush them with some cool Barney bubble gum toothpaste....it bubbles up in my mouth and feels pretty cool. I am actually allowed to hold the brush too - until I knock everything on the bathroom counter over (as seen below), then Mom usually takes the toothbrush from me.....sometimes she's not very much fun! Hope she doesn't read this or I'll be in big trouble....oooops!

Now apparantly I'm alot like my cousin Hannah because I fell asleep eating my supper the other night and Mom said Hannah does that too! So, here I am sleeping in my booster seat -but I kept opening my mouth so Mom would keep the food coming! I hear Dad does this on occasion too....especially after being out with Derek, Lee and Al...hmmmm....I guess it runs in the family!

Finally, this is me, obviously wide awake this time, looking for MORE FOOD! Sometimes mom's just a bit too slow and I just can't get enough. So, this time I thought I would try eating the bowl and spoon too....didn't taste very good so I banged them around and made lots of noise until Mom got me more! I DO know how to get my point across.

Hope you are all doing well. We are leaving Nanaimo in just 4 more weeks! We're very excited to be going, but not so excited to be leaving (that's what I keep hearing Mom and Dad say). I guess it's because we have soooo many nice people around us here and it will be hard to say good-bye....but....it will be very nice to see all my cousins, nana & papa, grammy & grampy, and all the great friends i met while I was back in NB for Christmas. I'm not too sure about sitting in my car seat for 12 days though???? we'll have to see about that one!

SOLD!!!! This photo is self explanatory....just 6 short weeks and we'll be on the road! YEAHH!

In other news...Charlie's first tooth has appeared! I tried to take a photo, but i risked blinding him in the process so I thought I'd wait for it to be a bit more visible....plus, the camera wouldn't focus that close!!! Anyway, here he is just yesterday helping me fold the laundry!

We're home....AGAIN!!! sorry I didn't let you all know sooner, but Charlie was busted out of the hospital on Thursday. He's home and doing just fine! He told all the nurses that he "NEVER wanted to see them again"....they all know that he's moving to NB in a couple of months and so it was all OK! Anyway, here are a couple of photos we took in the last few days....

this is Charlie being busted out of the hospital by his Dad...he looks pretty happy to be going home eh?

and here he is yesterday morning helping us plan our cross Canada adventure!!! He's VERY excited... less than 7 weeks to go!!!! ahhhh!

All subjects are to be removed from the sale agreement by tomorrow and as of Friday the realtors said "all is looking well".....so....after a week and a half on the market the house will be sold! We will be en route to NB on April 28th!!! We're looking at taking about 12 days to make the trip....home in time for Mother's day we hope!

Lots to be done before leaving....we're selling most of our stuff....only taking what will fit in the van and a U-Haul trailer,....so that's not much! We'll be sending Schooner, the cat, on the plane to Mom and Dad's (he's NOT going to like that much....I haven't even told him yet!!!!)

Yes...the hospital AGAIN!!!!! I'm just home for a quick shower and a quicker blog post....wanted to update you all and send some photos so you knew that Charlie is OK!!! We're hoping to spring him free tomorrow....he has been off oxygen all day today and his saturation levels are remaining high enough to keep Doc happy...so...as long as that continues through the night then we can come home tomorrow. They're just being extra cautious so we don't end up back there!!!! I agree with the doctors on that one! Anyway, here are a couple of photos taken yesterday for your viewing pleasure....he really doesn't look like he's got pneumonia and bronchialitis does he???

Oh.....almost forgot.....we have accepted an offer on the house and will know by March 12th if everything goes through! Then, it will close on April 28th and we will hop in the van and the adventure will begin....a cross Canada trip with an 8 month old.....yahooooo!!!
