It's Official!!! The sign is on the lawn and there are several viewings this weekend...our realtor seems to think we should have an offer by the end of the weekend....ahhhhh!!!! So, as soon as we have a closing date, we have a moving date; ideally we would like to see things settle the end of April, so say an extra prayer for that - would ya???

On another note, here are a few photos taken this week of our handsome little man! He was 6 months old on Monday, weighs 17lbs and measures 27.5 inches. He's rolling over, talking (LOTS) and now eating carrots (contrary to this first photo, he DOES like them quite well), avacado, peas and cereal. We're adding some good ol' steak this weekend!!!!

Finally, here is our BIG boy standing up the other day....He loves to stand up on chairs and "chew" on the backs....VERY proud of himself!

Today is my Grammy's Birthday!!!! Charlie writes....Hi everyone! Just want you all to know that it's my Grammy W's Birthday today and I love her VERY much! I can't wait to move to NB so we'll be able to celebrate our birthday's together from now on. Anyway, here is a little something I made today just for you Grammy....I hope you've had a WONDERFUL DAY!!!

Remember when I was this small Grammy? The photo on the card was taken when I was only 3 days old and you came to meet me. I sure have grown up alot since then!

On another note, I thought I'd tell you all that my Mom made me try avacado today.....Yuck!!! I took one look at it and tried to tell her that I wasn't big on trying something that looked like that...but she put the spoon in my mouth before I could say anything. So, I did what all of us do in that situation...spit it out and made a funny face. Then, she tried again. So again, I spit it out. This went on for a few minutes until I finally took matters in my own hands and threw up! I figured it was the only way Mom was going to get the hint that I was NOT liking avacado! She finally stopped! I think she's trying carrots tonight....we'll see!

Funny Photos! We have taken a few "funny photos" in the past 2 days that I wanted to share with you all.....



First, here is how Charlie woke up from a morning nap the other day! I heard him chatting and went in to get him and found him with the blanket half over his head, playing "peek-a-boo"! He is quite amusing when he first wakes up....usually don't even know he has, he just starts talking to the ceiling until you arrive, then he looks at you and grins!


The second one is of him standing up by himself on his change table. As you can see, I was right there to catch him just in case, but he held his own!!! Don't you just LOVE the diaper & sneaker look???

Third, this one I took today, just because...well, because he looked too darn cute sitting up on the couch.....and.... he was wearing a REALLY cute outfit this morning!


Finally, he received a special Valentines gift in the mail today from Grammy & Grampy W, who just got back from San Diego - gee, I wonder who picked out this gift??? We went to visit Charlie's Biker Buddy tonight and he wore it....Corey was very impressed!!!

oH.....by the way....The Party's tonight!!!!!!!!

Introducing "baby Kyle"........ Charlie writes..... i just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you all to my new baby cousin Kyle (isn't he handsome?) He is definately the cutest little baby I've seen - I can say that now because I'm a BIG Boy and not a baby anymore!!! His Mom, Laura, got to take him home today and he's doing very well. I can't wait to meet him....we're going to have soooo much fun together - I guess that's why Mom and Dad decided to move us all back to New Brunswick, so I can grow up with all my cousins and friends! I think it's a very good decision! Anyway, hope you all enjoy these photos!

As I mentioned above, I'm now a BIG Boy.....and, as such I get to eat Rice Cereal!!! So, this morning I had my first bowl of the stuff....pretty messy, but man did it taste good! Mom got some good video of the whole ordeal, but here are a couple of photos of me enjoying my Big Boy breakfast!

YEAH!!! Another 2nd Cousin for Charlie! Today is a GREAT day as we got news this AM that my cousin Laura gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Kyle, this morning! Charlie is very excited to have someone so close in age....i think they'll be getting into lots of trouble together as the years go on. Congratulations to Laura and Derek - we're very happy for you to begin your exciting life together as parents to baby Kyle.

So,....as promised, here are some photos of Charlie taken while in Vancouver and one just taken today. He misses his Dad a bit as David's been over in Vancouver since tuesday morning but will be returning home tonight....hence the reason for our little visit on thursday/friday.

Anyway....here he is sitting in a high chair at the restaurant...doesn't he look like such a big boy? almost made me cry when he fit in there like that!

here he is in the pool....he kicked his legs and his arms pretty much the whole time. He wasn't quite as excited as i thought he'd be....he was pretty quiet actually...but he didn't cry so that's the main thing. David was the photographer so this is the only photo that i really have (other than a short video) but...you can tell he's "swimming" i guess.

This one was taken once he got out...just thought he was tooo cute in his little "swimmers" and his "hoodie"....check out the belly on him!!!!

And finally, this one I took today. I got him a Bumbo seat from a lady at my church (they're supposed to be the "latest" thing in helping babies sit up and gain their "core" strength!!!) but they're really expensive ($59) so I was excited to find one second hand and much cheaper. Anyway....he seems to like it! PLUS...it's great to have a seat that you can carry around easily from room to room. So...we'll see if he continues to be so smiley in it; although I must admit...there isn't much he doesn't smile about....we sure did luck out with this guy!!!!

OOOOPS! I guess it's been a whole week since my last post and if I don't put something on here tonight, I think that I may start receiving some nasty phone calls!!!! So....here are a few photos taken in the past few days for your viewing pleasure.

Remember a few months ago when we posted the photos of our little "biker baby"? Well, here he is, a little bit bigger now, in his doo-rag and Harley-T. Looking pretty scary eh? I sure wouldn't want to meet him in an alley!



Someone commented in the last photos of how much he was looking like me, Tracy, and asked when the curls were going to start.....welll......it's maybe still a bit hard to tell - tough angle to get a photo - but I think you'll agree that we're quite confident he has his mom's hair!!!! THANK GOD!!!! (sorry David, but come on!)


Finally, here he is in his "Intellitainer" (really just a fancy name for some big piece of plastic that you put your kid in that makes lots of annoying noises and lights up!) I think he looks a bit drunk in this photo, but it's kinda cute!



Well, that's it!!!! Nothing much to take photos of these days it seems....I never thought I would say that! But....stay tuned...we're going over to Vancouver on thurs and friday to visit David (he's over there all week at the boat show and we figured he'd be going through Charlie withdrawl by mid week and will need his "fix") Anyway, we'll be taking him swimming for the first time at the hotel. So, I promise I'll take lots of photos and post them as soon as I get back! PLUS...Charlie will be turning 6 months old here in a couple of weeks and i'm sure that I'll have some photos of THAT special day!!!

As for moving info...nothing much different...we're listing the house on the 19th, praying for a quick sale with a close date the end of April so we can just hit the road after that. We now think we're going to sell everything and just rent a small trailer to tow behind the van for our personal stuff and a few small furniture pieces; It's just CRAZY expensive to put it all in a moving truck and drive it, train it, fly it, whatever! So....we'll keep you posted on that!
