Oh Canada!!! Just thought I would post this cute photo of my patriotic son! He was sent this shirt from Jim and Freda in NS (it's got CANADA written across the bottom on the back too)and it looks sooooo cute on him - then again, I seem to think his barf stained undershirts look cute on him....hmmmm!!! Anyway, he was enjoying the day looking GREAT for his country - and doesn't he look like a big boy?

And this one....well....what can I say - now he looks Russian! Yet still....he's adorable...eh??

Several Photos to post! Hello everyone, sorry I haven't posted any photos in awhile, we've just had soooo much happening. I'm going to try to get you all up to speed on what's been going on around here. First, Charlie had a GREAT week with his auntie Aly...many giggles, many snuggle snoozes and many kisses....loved them all! here are a couple of photos to prove it!!! This first photo was taken right after Aly gave him a bottle...he's looking a little "milk drunk" don't you think????



Second, Charlie turned 2 months on Thursday and so we had a very eventful day....started with a baby massage in the AM (I learned how at my Mom's group!!) Charlie LOVED it!!! he was sooo relaxed. We weighed him - now a wopping 13lbs and 24" long...he's growing like a weed (the pretty kind!!) Then, we took him to have a casting done of his foot and hand: it was pretty neat, she used the same molding they use at the dentist to take teeth impressions...then they fill it full of clay and voila...a wonderful keepsake!

Then, on Friday night we had a little pumpkin carving party...ate lasagna and pumkin seeds....mmmmm! I'll have to show you Charlie's pumkin in a future post!!!

Which brings us to today....Charlie's baptism day!!! Here are some photos of David and I along with Lee and Beth (godparents) and our little angel!!! He looked sooo handsome in his little suit...what a blessing!!!

More visitors! hello all...sorry I haven't posted lately....I've actually found that there has been a "lull" in my photo taking....we're just enjoying watching him grow and change every day and can't seem to keep up with it all on camera. Anyway...last weekend Charlie's Auntie Aly and Uncle Craig arrived all the way from Nova Scotia. Craig was only here for the weekend, but Aly's here all week and she's hooked!!!!

Here's our little angel having a "snuggle snooze" with his Auntie Aly shortly after her arrival...he thought he would have her fall completely in love from the very beginning!!! she now enjoys daily snuggle snoozes with her nephew....man, she'll miss those once she's back in NS...

Hope you are all doing well, will try to keep you more up to date!!! Things here are still going GREAT; as I mentioned above, we are constantly amazed at how time flies and this tiny little wonder just keeps getting bigger and bigger! He'll be 2 months this thursday and I'm afraid to weigh him! They really do grow up fast!

Saturday's a GREAT day!! What an exciting day today!!! Here is a play by play of Charlie and David's BIG day together..... 6am Charlie wakes up and comes into bed with us to have his breakfast....6:30am David and Charlie go back to sleep while I cook breakfast, clean the kitchen and get ready for the day ahead....7:30am David and I eat, Charlie laughs at us in his swing....8:30 am....see photo....

Yes, this is correct!!!! Charlie had his first bottle today!!! He looked a bit confused when he started sucking and got Mom's "booby juice" from Dad...hmmmm???? Oh well, tastes just the same! The nurse at the breastfeeding clinic told me that he most likely eats about 2-3 ozs per feeding, so we started with 2 in the bottle...that was gone in about 5 minutes, so we added another 2 and that was gone in about 4 minutes! Then, Charlie crashed for another couple of hours in Dad's arms...ahhhh the life!!!! We're very excited about this so I can now get out for more than an hour....so I did....

11:00am....I returned from some shopping to find the boys STILL in their p.j's....11:30am got one of them dressed and "ready for some Football!!!!"....looking like a true sports buff here....

After a long day of "lounging" with Dad, Charlie dreams of what tomorrow will bring!!

Now I know that this is backwards....but....here are a couple of REALLY cute photos taken yesterday. Charlie is always excited when he gets to sit in the "big" chair and smile for Mom!

Here he is cuddling with Lucy (which he did for most of the night last night)....can you blame him for looking so comfy?? Charlie LOVES the pretty ladies!!!!

Big Boy! Hi everyone....sorry I haven't posted any Charlie pics lately (I was getting some serious flack from my Mom) Anyway, he continues to grow and we're enjoying every minute of it. He's now starting to hold his head up quite well when up on our shoulder and as you can see below, he can now push up on his arms when lying on his belly. If he gets mad enough, he'll almost roll over from this position too...quite hilarious, but we do try to not let him get too mad at tummy time! Hope you are all doing well, will send more photos soon!!!


Here is a photo taken on "NFL Sunday".....GO CHIEFS GO!!!!! The boys were a bit upset with me when I came downstairs to get Charlie ready for church..."but, but....the Chiefs are playing!!" So, Charlie and I went to pray for victory!!!

Charlie spent most of the afternoon here in Derek's arms...they watched the game, slept, farted...you know.... guy stuff!!!!
