Snowed in, but we're OK!!! Just thougth that I would let you all know that, although we are under a good foot and a half of snow....we're doing OK!!! I know, I know, we're not supposed to get snow out here on the west coast...but, as you can see by the photos below, we're defniately getting snow...and LOTS of it! It started on Saturday and hasn't stopped! We hear that the weather is quite nice in the east which is making us wonder if we've made the right decision to move back??? hmmm? just kidding, we WILL come home Mom!!!

Anyway, here are a couple shots of Charlie and his first snowfall....hope you enjoy! Oh...before you look, I might as well defend myself by saying that "I'm NOT a bad mother" as I'm sure some of you will think when you see the photos....No, his ear did NOT get frost bitten and fall off, nor did his hand....he was only outside for a grand total of 5 minutes and was fully covered for about 41/2 of those minutes, by he just happened to turn his head and stick out his hand just as the camera was flashing...there....now....enjoy the photos and don't worry about Charlie freezing! Besides, I think you can tell he was pretty happy about the whole adventure!

On another note....here is Charlie today just going down for his afternoon nap. He has just found his hands and LOVES to grab everything and feel things. So, he now will pull the blankets up around his face when he's tired and "snuggle" into them. Today, because I was trying to take his picture, he kept pulling the blanket right over his head and grinning back at me...too cute!!!!

Have a great day!!! lots of love to all of you!

  • Thanks for the new pictures, Tracy.
Not too many more sleeps before I get to hold Charlie again....Do you think he'll still remember his grammy Weir?? He sure is a cutie.
I guess we have reversed our weather since it is like early fall days here..Charlie looks like he enjoyed his first outing in the fluffy white stuff.....Love you all..Grammie Weir

  • Enjoy the snow! Everyone here says they are not sure if we will get any this winter as it has been such a mild fall...being the nice Canadian, I keep saying that just means it will be a crazy winter with lots of snow! I'm not real popular around here anymore.
Love the photos, keep them coming! We miss you all and look forward to seeing you here in Scotland.
