Our "Wet Coast" Holiday and other photos! Hi everyone! I can't believe it's been 8 days since my last post....are you all going through Charlie Withdrawl? Sorry, but last week (Thursday) we decided to go with David (Friday) on a little trip down the Oregan Coast! Now, if you've been watching the weather at all this past weekend, you'll know that we picked the wrong weekend to see the sites; however, neither rain, nor wind kept us from having a good family mini-holiday!!!! I have also included a couple other photos for your viewing pleasure.

this one was on Halloween (of course)....Look everyone..... WE CAUGHT A BEAR CUB!!!!!! We went to visit a few friends and my work...he was a BIG hit!!!

Here is the apple of our eyes (not sure if you can tell or not, but, his hat is an apple!!!! )

OK....our trip.....This photo was taken on the first morning...we were such eager tourists that we went for a walk on the promenade in terential (I have no idea how to spell that word, but it means VERY hard rain!!!!) downpours! The wind was very strong too and when a big gust came along and tipped Charlie's stroller over we decided we were being a little ridiculous and headed back to the room....As you can see in the photo below, he thought the walk was quite relaxing and fell asleep to the sound of raindrops (LOTS of them!!) on his stroller's rain shield! I, on the other hand, was completely drenched from our 5 minute excursion.

We stayed in Seaside, Oregan....what a GREAT spot!!! Beautiful beaches, lots of history, within driving distance to Astoria and Cannon beach (rainy day trips we took) AND....there was a GREAT outlet shopping mall just 3 minutes from our hotel! So....on Sunday while the boys watched football, Momma shopped!!! Anyway, here we are on the ONE morning that it wasn't raining posing for a photo....YES....Charlie IS with us....look closely....David's wearing him!!!
Again, on the one morning we woke up and it wasn't raining we took advantage and went for a walk along the beach....it was beautiful! I know we couldn't see much through all the fog, but nevertheless, what we DID see was wonderful! Charlie thougth it was pretty cool seeing the Pacific Ocean so close...he thought about putting his feet in, but he was just toooo cozy snuggled up with Dad!
All the other photos were taken from inside the van so they didn't turn out that great. I actually took a little video clip from the passenger's seat one day en-route to Cannon Beach and you can barely hear my voice because the rain is pounding on the windshield so hard! So, the last couple of photos are our "inside" activities.

Here's our little blue eyed man having some Tummy Time. He was showing us just how strong he is by doing his push-ups!

This is the final morning of our trip....the boys were relaxing & watching sports desk while Mom got everything packed up....aren't they handsome????

that's it for now....again, sorry it's been awhile! I'll try not to let it happen again.
